2020 Census Complete Count Program
On March 21, 2019, the Washington County Commissioners passed a resolution forming the Washington County Complete Count Committee. The Resolution states:
"NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Washington County Board of Commissioners that all Washington County offices, through reasonable means, participate in the Census 2020 Complete Count Program, to partner with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and with the U.S. Census Bureau, to ensure that every resident in the County of Washington is counted in the year 2020."
In mid-March, homes across the country will begin receiving invitations to complete the 2020 Census. Once the invitation arrives, you should respond for your home in one of three ways: online, by phone, or by mail.
Census Day 2020
April 1 is Census Day, a key reference date for the 2020 Census. When completing the census, you will include everyone living in your home on April 1, 2020. Census Day will be celebrated with events across the country.
The Census Bureau is hiring in Washington County for flexible, part-time positions that pay $22.00/hour + paid training + mileage reimbursement. We want local people in local jobs! To learn more, please visit 2020census.gov/jobs!
