Drug and Alcohol Assistance

Resources for Friends, Familes and Individuals

Coroner Warco and his staff are sensitive to the substance abuse issues facing many residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Washington County in particular.

Many insurance plans cover treatment for substance abuse issues, but if yours does not, or you don't have insurance, help is still available.

We have partnered with the Washington Drug and Alcohol commission to provide access to resources for people who may have substance abuse problems; and education and support for their families and friends.

Appointments for assessments for treatment can be scheduled by calling 724-223-1181 Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 4:30.

For more information, please visit the Commission's website using the link to the right.

Treatment and Counseling Resources

This section will be periodically updated with treatment and rehabilitation facilities in the area. If you are an individual with insurance, locate your plan's customer service telephone number on the back of your card. The insurance company will locate a facility that accepts your insurance and make the referral for you.

If you don't have medical insurance, the WDAC is still here to help. Call them at 724-223-1181 and select option 1 to conduct a brief assessment over the phone.
