Campaign Finance Reporting

Pursuant to statute, violations of campaign finance reporting and filing requirements can be fined and/or prosecuted, with penalties of up to a year in prison and/or $5,000. Candidates are advised to pay particular attention to the information contained in this section.  If there are any questions contact the Elections Office or the PA Department of State.

*6th Tuesday Pre-Primary Complete as of March 28, 2022 Filing Deadline April 5, 2022**

* These reports are only required if you are a candidate for statewide office, an authorized committee for a statewide candidate, or a committee contributing to a candidate for a statewide office.

** If you are sending your report via USPS, UPS, or FedEx your report must be postmarked at least one day prior to the filing deadline.

Fines for Late Filing:

$20 per day for the first six days report is late, $10 per day after that until the maximum fine of $250 is reached.
