Provided Training

Washington County is a member of Pennsylvania Region 13 Counter Terrorism Task Force. This has brought thousands of dollars worth of specialized equipment and training to the county. The Department of Public Safety has trained police officers, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, local EMA coordinators, and hospital personnel in proper response techniques to acts of terrorism.
